Wetpaint is looking for a critical thinking and inquisitive reporting intern who will work within our Audience Development team to help with data reporting and analysis. Primary responsibilities will involve data reporting and analysis, communicating insights from trends, and helping with quantitative support across the company. The ideal candidate will be very quantitatively minded and attentive to details. Analytics is a core part of our business so candidates will have many valuable opportunities to grow in experience with business and web analytics. This position is 40 hours per week.
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience using Excel. Familiarity with PowerPivot and/or VBA a plus.
- Must be able to communicate data in a clear and accurate manner to anyone.
- Understanding of web analytics and data platforms (such as Google Analytics) a plus.
- SQL experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s in math/statistics, business, economics, or natural sciences.
